In one fun filled afternoon we will cover the fundamentals of hula hooping on our core and hands including choosing the correct hoop for your unique body/goals. We will explore hooping on different places of the core body including waist, hips, chest, shoulders for a fun dance workout. We will also begin to explore hooping on the hands in vertical and horizontal planes then twirl into corkscrews.

Come in as a bare bones beginner, to learn in your opposite current, whether you just want to perfect your own beautiful self-taught skills or as a great refresher course, all skill levels welcome. Leave with a whole lotta hoop love under your belt (and soon to be dropping from your waist line, if ya know what I mean). We will smile & laugh and yes, there will be sweating! Come find that inner child and bring them out to play! Bring a friend, co-worker or family member with you to play along to take advantage of our bring a friend special!

$35 to pre-register for this fun filled 3 hour workshop BEFORE Nov 30. Class goes up to $40/day of class.

New to hooping? No worries! Hoops for our beginners workshops (and plenty of giggles) are provided!
What to wear: Comfortable, breathable clothes that fit are recommended. Natural fibers are best for grip! Don’t forget your water bottle!

This monthly class will introduce you to the benefits of hooping, the various types of hoops & their uses/benefits, basic hooping skills along with advice & drills on how to maximize your workout with proper form. Hooping burns 100 calories in just 10 MINUTES focusing on your core and a smile!

This is your chance to give it a whirl if you have been wondering what its all about. Learn some new moves, connect with other women in your community through movement. See why hooping is making such a big come back. No experience or dance background required. You do not have to be a member to attend this fun filled class. Members are free.
Non-members will be offered the low price of just $15 for this class. What a deal!

Wear comfortable clothes that fit & allow for freedom of movement. Natural fibers are best for grip. Footwear is optional as the studio is carpeted if you prefer to remove your shoes for class. Bring water for maximum hydration as hooping IS a cardio workout.

Let’s hoop together! This is an introductory class to show you what all the “hooplah” is about surrounding hooping for fitness, fun and dance with Rebecca DeShon. This is a special class to introduce you to the benefits and joys of hooping.

This class is a teaser for the new Hooping 101: 5 week series that will occur Sundays from July 31-Aug 28. More details below!

What is all the hoopla about?! Well now is your chance to find out, with no obligations! I am offering a FREE Intro to Hoopnotica Hoop Dance class at Ladies Workout Express on Saturday September 25 at 1pm. This class will introduce you to all the amazing benefits of hula hooping and show you just what hoop dance is all about. I will have loads of hoops on hand for you to spin and will give you basic instruction on waist hooping and moving around with the hoop on your waist. We will discuss the countless options of each type of hoop and you will have the opportunity to try each one out for yourself. I will demonstrate just how much you can do with a modern hula hoop and you will burn calories without even realizing you are exercising. This will be a fun and very informative class. Ladies & Gents I am thrilled to share with you a brand new class series! I will be teaching a Beginner Hoopnotica Hoop Dance series at Ladies Workout Express in Toco Hills. In this class we will learn all the foundations of hoop dance while burning up to 600 calories in one hour! You will laugh, smile and giggle away your stress and build core strength with my hand crafted hoops. This is a 6 week class series and we will kick it off with the FREE Intro to Hoopnotica class on Saturday, September 25 at 1pm. The series will begin the week immediately following, October 2nd at 1pm and will continue each week to Saturday November 6.

Register for the series for the full 6 week series for $72  PLUS the FREE INTRO TO HOOPNOTICA class.  Use your PayPal account or pay by cash or check at the beginning of class. If you wish to hold space for yourself, registration is strongly recommended. OCT 2 – NOV 6.
