What: Hooping 101 Series
Where: Ladies Workout Express
2865 North Druid Hills Road
Atlanta, GA 30329
(next door to Palace Bakery in the Toco Hills Shopping Center)
When: 5 week series, Sundays July 31-Aug 28 Time:1-2pm

No experience or dance background required! This class is taught as a series where each new class builds upon the previous lesson learned. I have designed this series to guide you through the basics of hooping. If you have never hooped before (or haven’t since you were a kid) or are repeating this class to gain better muscle memory, this series will give you all the basic moves of hooping so you may begin *dancing* in your hoop. We will discover new ways of hooping and not just on your waist! We will cover a wide range of movements with new moves in each new class as well as cover proper form, stretching and transitioning from one move to the next.

We will learn:

Hooping on our waist in forward & side stance
Walking & dancing with the hoop on your waist
Hip Hooping
Halo
Floating
Corkscrews & variations
Transitions & dancing in your hoops
PLus much more!

Wear comfortable clothing that fits and allows for freedom of movement. Bring your water!

Space is limited! All 5 classes $60 for the series ($12 per class), hoops are always provided or feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite. If you attend the Intro to Hooping class on July 17. Drop ins are allowed but your space is not guaranteed. $15 per drop in.
